  • Psychotherapy is what most people think of when they think about "traditional therapy". We engage in processing verbally. I will leave space for you to share and offer support, opportunities for reflection, validation, and challenge you. I work from a "trauma lens", focusing on what has happened to you, your history and any negative patterns in thinking and behaviors.

  • Art therapy is a great tool for processing and can go hand in hand with talk therapy and EMDR. Art therapy helps to interpret, express, and resolve emotions, thoughts, and experiences. You DO NOT need any art or creative skills or special supplies to engage in Art Therapy. If you have a pen and a piece of paper, you can do Art Therapy.

  • EMDR stand for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR uses the natural healing process of the brain called "bilateral stimulation". EMDR is a great therapy for trauma and even negative body image.
